This is a test of how I'm going to start posting actually doing the "chronicle" bit of the title.

This blog will contain design notes (and rants) and, eventually, patterns and guides.

My goal here is to provide a method of sausage-making (read: how someone comes up with designs and then translates them into patterns) both for myself and for any potential readers / makers / clients.

I hope that I am successful in my endeavor.
